Old Town Farmers Market
Planning for the 2010 Farmers Market is underway and we need vendors. The Farmers Market is a great event and we look forward to showcasing it to the community.
Why we do a Farmers Market?
There are several reasons:
- Many consumers are trying to eat healthier
- Markets reconnect consumers with the sources of their food in a socially engaging atmosphere
- Farmers and other food producers can receive the full retail value for their products while getting feedback from the consumer
- For Moore, the Market can serve as a central gathering place where neighbors and shoppers can interact
- Finally, we are keeping local dollars in our city
