Board of Adjustment
The Board of Adjustment concerns itself with questions arising from the City's zoning regulations. Business of the Board includes hearing appeals from from citizens who have been the subject of enforcement of zoning regulations; deciding map interpretations; and authorizing exceptions and variances to the zoning regulations.
The Board of Adjustment consists of five residents of the city, appointed to three-year positions that expire in August. At least two members of the Board are appointed from the membership of the Planning Commission.
Meetings of the Board are held at 5:30pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, if there is business to conduct. Meetings are held in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. Official meeting notices and agendas are posted on the bulletin board at City Hall.
